Vada Justice Garver

Died Aug. 8, 2007
LAWNDALE — Vada Justice Garver, 97, died Wednesday, Aug. 8, 2007, at her home in Lawndale.
She was a native of Cleveland County and daughter of the late Thomas and Ann Newton Justice. She was a lifetime member of First United Methodist Church of Lawndale and a retiree of Cleveland Mills.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Garver was preceded in death by her husband, Ellis R. Garver; son-in-law, Thomas W. Wease; brother, Joe Justice and three sisters, Minnie Garver, Dessie Richards and Adele Justice.
She is survived by three daughters, Elaine Wright and husband, Zeno of Polkville, Mattie Sue Wease of Lawndale and Shirley Benfield and, husband Harold of Lawndale; two sisters, Bruna Richards of Casar and Thomas Willis of Fallston. She was also blessed with seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation: The family will receive friends today from 2 to 3 at Stamey Funeral Home, Fallston and other times at the home of Harold and Shirley Benfield, 360 E. Main St., Lawndale.
Funeral: Today at 3 at Stamey Funeral Home Chapel, Fallston
Burial: Rose Hill Memorial Park
