Janette Pritchard Bridges

SHELBY — Mrs. Janette Davis Pritchard Bridges, 66, of 1209 Pamela Drive, died Monday, March 28, 2005, at Cleveland Regional Medical Center.

Born Sept. 6, 1938, in Cleveland County, she was a daughter of Fannie Lou Davis Pritchard and the late Clyde Thomas Pritchard Sr. She was an assistant manager at The Pantry on Marion Street in Shelby. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church of Shelby.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Gene Bridges; and two brothers-in-law, Max Lee and Jim Hatley.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by three sons, David Bridges and fiancée, Christie Lane, Brian Bridges and Ricky Bridges, all of Shelby; a daughter, Pam Bridges and fiancé, Jon Bolton, of Shelby; a brother, Tom Pritchard of Greenville, S.C.; two sisters, Ann P. Lee of Greenville and Vickie P. Hatley of Harper, Kan.; two grandsons, Nicholas Ledbetter and wife, Ashley, and Trey Ledbetter, all of Shelby; a great-grandson, Hunter Ledbetter of Shelby; her mother-in-law, Minnie Bridges of Lawndale; numerous aunts and uncles; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be Thursday at 1 p.m. at Stamey Funeral Home Chapel, with the Revs. Benjamin Davis, Jim Kilby and Tim Trexler officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home tonight from 6:30 to 8.
