Kathleen "Kat" Wease Dobbins

LAWNDALE - Mrs. Kathleen "Kat" Wease Dobbins, 87, of 111 N. Garver St., died Friday, Sept. 5, 2008, at Cleveland Regional Medical Center.
A native of Cleveland County, Mrs. Dobbins was a member of Lawndale Baptist Church and retired as a spinner from Cleveland Mills.
She was a daughter of the late Max F. and Luella Blackburn Dobbins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Hoyt Dobbins, as well as a brother and two sisters.
Mrs. Dobbins is survived by nephew Robert Beason and wife, Sherry, of Shelby along with several other nieces and nephews.
The family would like to extend special thanks to Somerset Court and Cleveland Regional Medical Center's Fourth Floor staff.
Visitation: The family will receive friends Sunday, Sept. 7 from 4 to 5:30 p.m. at Stamey Funeral Home.
Funeral: Monday, Sept. 8, at 3 p.m. at Lawndale Baptist Church, the body will placed in the church 30 minutes before the service.
Burial: Rose Hill Memorial Park
