Charles Dewey Brackett
Fallston - Charles Dewey Brackett, 39, of 5162 Fallston Road, died Monday, Oct 16, 1995, at Lake Norman Medical Center.
A native of Cleveland County, he was self-employed as owner and operator of Brackett Tire and Alignment.
He was a member of Lawndale Baptist Church and Casar Masonic Lodge and Scottish Rites of Charlotte and was also a graduate of Burns High School and Nashville Auto Diesel College.
Surviving are his parents, Dewey and Ruth Carpenter Brackett Jr. of Lawndale; paternal grandmother, Eliza Brackett of Lawndale; one son, Jordan Brackett of Shelby; one daughter, Adriane Brackett of Shelby; one sister, Doris Saare of Jacksonville, Fl.
The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at Polkville Baptist Church with the Revs. Alton Martin and Zeno Wright officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Memorial Park with crypt masonic rites and entombment. The body will lie in state 30 minutes prior to the service.
The family will receive friends tonight from 7 to 8:30 at Stamey Funeral home.
