Eunice Camille Champion Moss
LAWNDALE - Mrs. Eunice Camille Champion Moss, 87, of 205
Southard St., died Tuesday, Jan. 16, 2001, at Cleveland Regional Medical Center.
A native of Cleveland County, she was born Oct. 10, 1913, a daughter of the late
Charles Sr. and Belle Shytle Champion. She was a homemaker and a member of
Lawndale Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William
Darvin Moss, and a daughter, Jean Harkley.
She is survived by a granddaughter and husband, Celeste and Freddie Laughlin of
Shelby; a sister, Kathleen Ledbetter of Kings Mountain; and two great-grandsons,
James Laughlin and Torre Laughlin.
The funeral will be Thursday at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Stamey Funeral Home,
Fallston, with the Rev. Cecil Buff and Jack Waters officiating. Burial will
follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.
