Rush Cline
Lawndale - Mr. Rush Cline, 78, of East Main Street died Thursday, Nov. 30, 2000 in Cabarrus County.
A native of Cleveland County, he was the son of the late David Alexander and Novella Wright.
He was a retired supervisor with Cleveland Mills and a member of New Bethel Baptist Church. He was an Army veteran.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Estelle McCurry Cline; two brothers and two sisters.
He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Ronnie C. and Connie Cline of Omaha, Neb.; a daughter, JoAnne Henderson of Concord; a daughter and son-in-law, Vicki and Jim Cooke of Concord; and a brother; Jerome Cline of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.; Five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be Saturday at 3 p.m. at Stamey Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Cecil Buff officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 2-3 p.m. at the funeral home.
