Willard "Will" Fortenberry White
LAWNDALE - Mrs. Willard "Will" Fortenberry White died Saturday,
Dec. 23, 2000, at White Oak Manor of Shelby.
Born in Cleveland County June 6, 1915, she was a daughter of the late Clarence
Adkin and Zula Rosellen Hull Fortenberry. She retired from Premier Hosiery and
was a member of New Home United Methodist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Fred
White; three brothers, Clyde Fortenberry, Paul Fortenberry and Lee Fortenberry;
and four sisters, Lillie Ledford, Sophia Angel, Vernie Fortenberry and Lois
Richard.
She is survived by a brother, Dwight Fortenberry of Morganton.
The funeral is today at 3:30 p.m. in the chapel of Stamey Funeral Home of
Fallston with the Rev. Edward Lee officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill
Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour before the service.
