Ruby Mae Hoyle Wright

CASAR — Mrs. Ruby Mae Hoyle Wright, 79, of 157 Beechnut Creek Road, died Wednesday, Aug. 28, 2002, at Cleveland Regional Medical Center.

Born May 2, 1923, in Cleveland County, she was a daughter of the late Wesley McClure and Lettie Sheila Lail Hoyle. She was a homemaker and member of Pisgah Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bryson McKinley Wright; a son, Ronnie Wright; three brothers; and two sisters.

She is survived by seven sons and four daughters-in-law, Bryson Jr. and Marcelle Wright, Kenneth Wright, Randy and Wanda Wright and Steve Wright, all of Casar, Harold and Donna Wright and Allen and Diane Wright, all of Morganton, and Ray Wright of Lawndale; six daughters and four sons-in-law, Pauline Wright, Catherine and Sherrill Towery and Mildred and Philip Brackett, all of Casar, Barbara Ryan of Vale, Gail and Ronnie Buff of Boiling Springs and Lisa and Don Hudson of Connelly Springs; a sister, Bessie Pruett of Casar; 25 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren. 

The funeral will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at Pisgah Baptist Church with the Revs. Carrell Pruette and David Waldrop officiating. The body will be placed in the church 30 minutes before the service. 

Burial will be in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends tonight from 7 to 8:30 at Stamey Funeral Home.
