Boyce L. Peeler

SHELBY — Boyce Lee "Shorty" Peeler, 62, Double Shoals Road, died Feb. 12, 2000, at home.

He was a native of Cleveland County, son of the late Elmer Gamble and Florine Mull Peeler, grandfather of the late Amanda Peeler, retired fixer at Howell Mill, member of Double Shoals United Methodist Church, mineral collector.

SURVIVORS: Wife, Betty Mullinax Peeler; daughters, Penny Peeler, Lawndale, Joan Peeler, Shelby; special child, Jesse Crotts, the home; stepson, Joe Crotts, the home; stepdaughters, Debbie Shelton, Cliffside, Freida Lail, Penny Gilliam, Shelby, Martha Walker, Smyra, S.C.; sister and brother-in-law, Peggy and Ray Champion, Shelby; nephews, Mark and Allen Champion, Shelby

FUNERAL: 2 p.m. Tuesday, Double Shoals United Methodist Church, Rev. David Reep, Jack Waters; body will be placed in church 30 minutes before service

BURIAL: Cleveland Memorial Park
