Marthell Poole Hartman
LAWNDALE — Mrs. Marthell Poole Hartman, 82,
of 117 Charity Drive, died Friday, Oct. 10, 2003, at Cleveland Regional Medical
Center.
Born Oct. 22, 1920, in Cleveland County, she was a daughter of the late Henry
Poole and Minnie Hudson Poole. She was a homemaker and member of Charity Baptist
Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Blanche
Edgar Hartman; and three infant sons.
She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Darrell and Bernadine Hartman of
Lawndale; four daughters and four sons-in-law, Margaret and Ken Willis of
Cherryville, Jeanette and Jim Gulledge of Waco, Betty and Buster McKinney of
Ellenboro and Martha and Tim Lankford of Kings Mountain; 12 grandchildren; and
17 great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be Sunday at 3 p.m. at Charity Baptist Church, with the Rev.
Charles Cook officiating.
Burial will be in Rose Hill Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 7:30 at Stamey Funeral Home.
