Pritchard, Caroll Russell

LEESVILLE, La. - SFC Carroll Russell Pritchard, 64, formerly of
Lawndale, died Wednesday, Oct. 11, 2000, at Cleveland Regional Medical Center.
Born Dec. 25, 1935 in Cleveland County, he was the son of Alma Louise Bivins
Pritchard of Lawndale and the late Loy Russell Pritchard. He was retired from
the Army after 21 years. He served during the Vietnam Conflict. He also worked
for the Angola State Penitentiary in Louisiana.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Carolyn Jones Pritchard
of the home; two sons and daughters-in-law, Chuck and Toni Pritchard of
Leesville, La., and Gary and Violet Pritchard of Lawndale; and a grandson, Fred
Joseph Pritchard.
The funeral will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at Stamey Funeral Home Chapel with the
Rev. Paul Williams officiating.
Burial will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends tonight from 6:30 to 8 at the funeral home and
at other times at the home of his mother, Mrs. Alma Pritchard, Lawndale.
